I fished east Goleta beach or an hour today while my girlfriend went on a run. The tide was super high so i ended up basically swimming to get past the slough. I saw a couple guys fishing out their and I didn't want to intrude on their spot so i continued down the beach. I was using the 3" rainbow trout big hammer for a total of 3 short hallies, the biggest at about 19". It was a fun little trip maybe i will go again tomorrow.
