#10806, "Power Plant 9-14-03"

Location: Oxnard Power Plant
Bait: Sandcrabs, Blood, and Grubs of Motor Oil/Red flakes.
Scent: Herring scent.
Time: 2:00pm-5:00pm
Tide: Last of High Tide turning to Low tide.

Summary: The fishing was pretty good with the Barred Perch on Sandcrabs and Bloodworms. The loaction of sandcrabs were deep in surf and were pretty size like in nickle size Wow. Secondly, the perch were hitting on gurbs at the high tide on motor oil/red flakes. Still have red tide in water with seaweed. The best set up is caroline rig. Some of the perch came on my high and low rig. Just more seaweed that way. Had one good fight on a nice sandcrabs. It let good after It felt weight. I would say use the light set for best results. Lastly, the halibut for me did not play with the swimbaits. Also, for got the last pic is the size of sandcrbs. The perch love them.
