Fished Campus point on Saturday with Lepin Bass and Daniel and it SUCKED! No one got bit, the water wasnt as clear as it could have been, there was a ton of weeds and the water temp was down to 55 degrees...So basicly it sucked.

After getting no love at Campus Daniel and I tried the Evening bite as east Goleta, there was a ton of guys out there fishing including a couple fly fishermen. Dan an I started at are usually spot but since the tide was a bit low we were out on the sand bar. There was a few too many weeds for my liking and the surf was kind of up. All of that would have been fine if we had been gettting bit, but again we had NO LOVE! It sucked, we bailed after an hour. I think the water is still too cold, but if this weather keeps up we should be in for some halibut soon!
