Didn't had class until 11 o'clock so headed to the jetty. Got there about 7 after visiting the bait buffet. First hali came around 8 about 17". Missed two hits before that. The next one was at 8:30. That one was 12". After catching the 12"er I move out a little further on the jetty. After about 20 minutes got pick up. Give it some time to take the bait, set the hook and fish on. Fought it for about 7-8 minutes looking for a good spot to bring it on. Finally was able to beach it on a rock. Measure it at 23". Toss out another bait and got pick up again. Fought just as hard as the one before. Got it to the surface, looked about the same size as the 23" hali. Took a pic. Was putting the camera away when it took off under the rock and cut the line. Quick release. Left at 10. Had to get to class.

I was fishing the same spot last time I met you because the tide was not high enough to fish my favorite spot (you know where). If you are going to fish there, I advise you to get there early. Ever since I started posting, I'd been seeing more and more people fishing there. Beside you want to be the one to have the first wack at that spot. My favorite spot usually produce a legal if you are the first one. Good luck. If I'm not doing anything I'll be out there on Sunday too. For sure I'm out there on Friday, my designated fishing day.
