fished the harbor in Santa Barbara this morning with my 7 year old nephew and the red tide that was so thick a few days ago is now gone.

the fishing was decent. i caught 5 sand bass and my nephew got 2 in about an hour and a half of fishing. throwing 3 inch Wookie Wacker swimbaits as usual. all fish were seemingly the exact same size; about 12.5 inches. all were released.

i just aquired a float tube (much thanks to calicojoe!) and i hope to get out and try it tomorrow morning.
