Got to M st at around 7. Caught what's left of the out going tide to the bait barge. Fished around there for 5 juvenile WSB, 4 spotty (up to 3 lbs), 2 sandy, and 1 keeper hali at 26". Hali did get me back. I accidentally got my pointing finger next to its mouth and chomp. One tooth went through my fingernail. Good thing only two puncture wound. Caught the incoming tide back to M st. Overcast all morning and slight breeze starting at about 9.

Good job! Take care of that finger! My thumb still doesn't have full range of motion and feeling from when it got bit year before last.

Nice flatty wang.I too have made the mistake of letting the finger get a little too close to the mouth,insta blood!I may have to check out newport in the yak.Its alot closer for me than the sd sceene.But ya gotta love the kelp!tightlines,
