I just moved to the Hollister area and am in need of a good fishin' buddy. I have a tube and will fish for anything from itty-bitty Bluegills to the Blue Marlin I hooked in Baja a few years back. I'll fish from the bank or anything else so long as I feel safe. I don't smoke and I think A(1) beer is good for celebrating once I'm on dry land and the gear is stowed. I have a 2yr old son and a 5yr old daughter that go with me about 1/2 the time. If your interested either E-mail me or call me at (831)630-1262.

Tight Lines and good fishin'
Wade

Hey Deep:

I fish the Southbay lakes Uvas/ Chesbro, and Anderson sometimes for bass and crappie, especially during the spawn. There is always an excellent spring bite in those reservoirs. But I've been wanting to hit up Los Banos creek and Oneill forebay one of these days when I'm not buried neck deep in studying. If I'm headed out to LB Creek we should team up and do some damage to the planter population. I'll get a hold of you if the time draws near.

Sounds good. BTW, I grew up in Morgan Hill and might be able to give some advise on the local lakes (Anderson***, Calero**, Coyote**, Chesboro*, Uvas*).
As for Oneil F-Bay, I usually fish the main lake, but occasionally will fish under the 152 bridge (Large black Jitterbug when the waters barely moving can be deadly at night). As for the main lake, I fish the dinosaur area or in the cove/hard point just down from the sign that says "ROMERO OVERLOOK AHEAD" or something like that. It's usually either hot and heavy on schooly Stripers or Skunksville there.
Anyways, let's get together sometime. You can contact me here or call me at (831) 630-1262. I'm hitting the San Justo Opener in Hollister this Sat. and plan on getting a double rod stamp so I can C&R Bass and get some Cats or Trout for the table.

Tight Lines,
Wade

Ya, I'm an alumnus. I guess they'd call me an oak by now, as I'll be 30 tomorrow. What's that we used to say "Don't trust anyone over/under 30."
So how about we hit the water this weekend?

Tight lines,
Wade

Wade:
Sorry. Didn't get your message until sunday (tonight) and only got it now because I'm in the library doing research. Don't think I'll be able to get out until President's week in two more weeks when I finally get a day off. Hope you had fun if you went.
However, I did wet a line for a couple of minutes at the Campbell Perc Ponds near Santa Clara U on friday before I hit the library. There were planters jumping all over, except on the end of my line of course. Skunked!
