#157, "still no perch"

I went to where the oil tanker used to tie up about 500 yrds off Cayucos, usually a very good spot. NO FISH!!!! Then I went to Montana De Oro, never been skunked here, well never say never. I think that since the low tide is about 1.5 and the high is only 3.0 that there just isnt enough h20 exchange to fire them up.. The sandpipers and snowy plovers were scoring hard on sand crabs, but no fish. I am going to scout out my leopard shark spot on wed so Ill get back to you.
tight lines

The mentioned areas are from Morro Bay northward to ragged point in Monterey county. It is said that less than 10% of the beach is fished between these two points. I have had some killer catches in previous months and years. If your interested in going with me email me at tesjrb@cs.com
tight lines
