#198, "CALFISHING.COM CHARTER--READ ME!!!!!"

Well, all of you probably though I was an idiot or a scam or something trying to book a trip in January for July. Well....the Indian and most of the other boats in Diego are booked solid through August--the 25th booked 2 weeks ago. TOLD YA SO.
Besides that, I found it very aggrevating that when it came to a "serious head count" few people responded. Fu ck it!! The charter is off!!!! I am not going to waste my time. Maybe I should do a float tube tournament or a perch tournament. Then I'd get a response!!
I'm not trying to be rude, its just that I go out of my way and get a bunch of B.S.
However, I did book a April 18th yellowtail trip on the Indian. I would like to take the serious people who responded to my posting, ROB I HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT!!! The trip will be mainly my buddies beacause its a bachelar party. We have about 5 spots open. Around 100 dollars will get you on.
haywardmail@earthlink.net
Oh yeah, the Fred Hall show was great this year, lot's o great deals!!!!

Brandon
First off thanks for trying so hard to put this thing together. Those of you out there who may have thought this was some kind of flaky deal or whatever were wrong. Brandon and I fished on the Seahawk 'bout a year ago and this guy slays. Now that it's officially cancelled someone will be sure to say, "wait I'm in hold on..." well where were you last week?? Anyway, San Diego fisherman probably take their fishing a little more seriously than up here. Morro Bay albie guys perhaps excluded. We'll have to see about the yellowtail charter but I'll let you know if it's happenin' for me. You guys are going either way and you'll probably kill 'em.

About the show, that's good to hear there were some deals. jamon and I used to go every year in high school but the last year we went we got pissed because there were no deals, all the calcutta 400's were $199, and we got blown off by enough know-it-all fishing lure manufacturers and reps that we said forget it. I think Bill Henderson of Big Hammer was the only guy who didn't treat us like we were nobody, and we must have bought 50 bucks worth of plastics from him. Maybe next year I'll check it out again.

Thanks for the reply! I really appreciate the nice words! I really wanted to make this thing happen; too bad it didn't. See what I mean about San Diego charters, they book up super fast. I hope maybe you will come down and fish seabass with me sometime this spring at Catalina. I am going to Cabo April 6-10, 2 days of marlin/roosterfishing.CANT WAIT.
Also, I will be working on the El Dorado starting in May on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays so your always welcome when Im on the rig. No bass fishing recently!!
The show was pretty cool. The new Castaic trout is mind blowing-so realistic it looks more real than a native rainbow--seriously. I bought about 20 45's, some various yo-yo jigs and A bunch of fish traps. I got a graphfighter L blank for 20 bucks from a guy that recognized me from the boat!
Let me know about future trips!!
