I called down to Sea Landing today and talked to the lady there. She said that the seahawk is scheduled to run 3/4 day on Saturday June 16. This would be their last trip before moving to LA harbor. I talked with her for a bit and she said that if there was enough interest they would consider chaning the trip to an overnight trip. I told her I was trying to get together some people to go and would give a call back if it seemed like we could put together enough people. So I'm saying lets do it! Last year we had a great trip to Rosa this time of year and you'd have to think there would be a lot of good karma going on with a trip like this.
So if'n you're interested, put a post up in reply to this message and send me an email at rob@calfishing.com with your phone number. If a good number of people are serious about going, I'll call up and see if we can get it changed to an overnight and go for it.

I called her today too. She said that she'd just talked to Rick 10mins earlier and he wants to change all the remaining trips to overnight seabass trips, but it wasn't for sure yet. I didn't make any reservations and said I'd call back later when things were more firmed up. The 16th is apparently the last day the 'hawk will be here, so let's jump on it!!! I'm down.

I don't blame you for calling the girl at Sea Landing. If it is who I think it is (Katie), holy cow! What a hottie... I recommend any fishing trip out of Sea Landing just to get an opportunity to buy a ticket from her...

Hey I talked with Jamon aka James Beck who some of you may remember from the "Jamon and Rob's Fishing Page" days. He is a fireman now in LA and has a lot of time off finally. Looks like he may make it for the 16th which would be sweet.
I haven't heard anything yet about getting the trip changed to an overnight, but I'm working on it and will keep everyone posted.

I talked with the landing and the trip has been changed to an overnight islands trip leaving Friday night June 15 at 10pm and fishing Saturday June 16. I went ahead and made a reservation for myself but I would prefer that if you would like to go just go ahead and make your reservations individually. 805-963-3564 is the number. It'll be like a charter without being a charter :-)
