Pat and I hit the harbor near the pier in the tubes to go for some of the halibut action that everyone is talking about. Fished from 7-10:30 AM with fastracs and fishtraps. Not much going on, got two (very) shorts on mackeral fishtrap close to east side of the pier. Nothing else all morning but sea lions snorting all around us. Will try Goleta next weekend.
