Got lucky with the camera running and captured a 17.8 lb striper hitting a Lunker Punker... I cut the video down to just the first part as the rest of the fight was kind of boring.

That was an awesome video, Carrot Top (I remember meeting you at a seminar I was giving at a store in SoCal, but sorry, I can not remember your name.)

I am no video expert, but is your video was taken with a CCD video camera, you can make pictures from any of the video footage (it was quality/very in focus). Some pics made from the end of your footage, might be a good alternative for your one pic that you are not happy with.

I turned the camera off as I was going to net the fish as the net got caught on a hook so there is no end photo of the fish. The hit was the best part anyways.

Yeah I remember meeting you. Real name is Erik. God that was a fun little trip. Up at 5 am and on the road at 530, made it to BWW by 1030, spent a few hundred dollars, watched a few seminars ( yours on bass fishing in Japan was probably the best, hell it is the only one I remember watching besides Aaron Martens.) Left the store at 330 ish and home by 930.

That was sick, but most fish seem to hit the Punker like that; MINUS the flailing around after being hooked. That was one mad fish :)~! LOL

Caught some Punker LM last Friday myself! Getting blowups on that bait never does get tiring does it:)?
