Well with the forewcast calling for wind my dad and I headed to Del Valle to fish before the wind kicked up and I'm glad we did. Ended up fishing from about 615-130 or so in that time we caught around 28 bass that were from about 1-3+ pounds, the highlight of the day was when my dad caught his new personal best of 12.2 pounds. This fish did everything in the book, head for the trolling motor, go under the boat... hell at one point my dads rod wan on one side of the boat and the fish was jumping on the other, lucky the line didnt break... anyways ill just post the pictures and shut up. I have a video that I'll try and upload to a webpage along with another picture or two.

Hey there, I am a first timer to your forum, I live up in Temecula and was wondering where is Del Valle I have never heard of it and have been in the SOCAL for some time. can you help or is it a well kept secret. I would understand if it is. Thanks advance.

Actually it isn't a secret but it is in NOR-CAL so maybe that's why you haven't heard of it. It's in Livermore (bay-area) It is usually a numbers lake but it seems as though some big fish are starting to be pulled out of the lake.
