Hey rob I saw a big headline with your name stating you led the catches with an 18lbr. I read the article and they said how the bass were hitting good on powerbait, Are you sure that's not your secret bait that you really caught her on. Just thought you would find it funny if you read it. I/m also interested in a boat like your's. Is it a flatbottom or mod-v? If your comfortable would you let me know what that boat cost, and show some pictures of how you made your deck. If you don't wan't to post here, you could wmail me at hjk00@msn.com. Thanks, Jerry

That was cool.... "BUT" it was rediculous that they did not even bother to mention that Rob released his hog !!! That was at least as big a part of this story as the catch ! Heck, there's been two other 18's caught in Pablo's history, but both of those were killed !

Just MPO, but Rob's fish is an infinitely more impressive catch, than an 18.7 which was caught by a fluke, by a trout fisherman, and then killed !

Rob is da' man !!! Show em' what time it is buddy !

Peace,
Fish

Jerry, I sent you an email with some info. For the deck, it was really easy. The way the boat is laid out, there is a space exactly 6' long and 4' wide between the raised front deck and the rear seat. I just bought a piece of plywood at Home Depot, had them make one cut in it to fit, then took a staple gun and stapled carpet on it. For the rest of the carpeting I used some 3M adhesive spray to put it on. The spray glue wrecks the paint (it basically melts the carpet to the paint) but I don't care. When it needs new carpet, I'll probably just use acetone to get it off.

I didn't see the thing in Fishsniffer b/c I don't get that magazine, but that's funny about the powerbait. At Pablo, if they don't know what you caught it on, they just say it was on powerbait. It's like the default or somethin. You guys all know that powerbait is my real secret weapon LOL.
