Just looks like a painted baby-bass to me.

yeah it does look like a differently painted baby bass... but the box says baby trout...

the auction ended at $460 still not meeting the reserve... talk about greedy... wonder how much they wanted to get for the thing...

Be careful about stuff like that.

Im not Castaic historian, and there is an excellent chance its a legit bait. But its definitely just a painted baby bass, even if it was painted at Castaic's shop. Not worth whatever that clown was trying to get for it I'm sure.

Just remember that guys have successfully sold french fries, air, and sand on ebay for hundreds of dollars. Not saying this is the same thing...but skepticism is good.
