I was wondering what everybodys thoughts on this subject were. I like clear spooks for bright conditoins and people have told me to try them at night. I guess the idea is that the fish cant make out the lure. They see the silhouette of a fish going by. I know osprey offers a clear trout and I have a few generic 3d's in a almost clear color. How about a ghost trout hudd?

I know clear spooks can be deadly at certain lakes like Mead. You can make them custom by adding a small amount of glitter to the back and clear coat it when you're done.

When the water is clear and fishing pressure is high, they often can't be beat. I've used 'em at Clear Lake as well as other canyon reservoirs like Sonoma and done quite well. The fish can hear and feel 'em but aren't as easily spooked by them.
