I got off Lake Casitas about 1:00pm on 11-6-07 and the hatchery plant truck was dumping 2400lbs of trout in the 1 > 1 1/2 lb range in the lake at the main ramp. This is the third plant for Casitas.
GOOD LUCK Rich

That's weird. castaic got trout on monday and not a single one was over 12inches. Honestly some were even shad sized.
The DFG guys are stupid, The guy stocking the fish said there was a hole in the net so the bigger ones didn't end up in the truck. Does that make any sense or is it just me?

Also I believe the fish all come from the same hatchery, so why there is such a variation in size from stock to stock is beyond me.
