Hey guys,

I'm curious if anyone has any feedback on the Weedless Hudds so far. I know they swim beautifully (Rob's video) and they look great (like all Huddleston baits). How is the hook up percentage and hook/land ratio? Unfortunately, I haven't been fishing yet this year. I'm really looking forward to giving my weedless Hudds a run in areas I haven't been able to fish effectively in the past with exposed hook swimbaits.

Thanks, fellas!

Sorry no direct experience here since I have yet to buy one. But I have seen this question asked allot in other places and the majority of the responses have been positive, most have had great hook up ratio, they had the usual taps and half hearted swipes that swimbaits usually get but I have not heard any real complaints about dumping solid bites.

I plan on getting one real soon and hopefully will have the same results.

I caught a few on it while in Alabama last week. I fished it through a flooded forest of trees with minimal hang ups, and when it did hang it slpped right out when I got close. The hook up ratio was excellent when the fish actually did not tail bite it. So far so good :-)

You may also want to drop Matt Peters an e-mail to get his input. According to his blog entries he has been throwing the bait in both FL and GA.
