For throwing the larger hard swimbaits, such as the Nates, Ragos and 3:16's do you want to use a moderate fast action rod with a soft tip?
Or is it just user preference?
Thanks guys

Why are you asking these questions? You've stuck so many giants! We should be asking YOU these questions LOL. I'll never forget the look on your face at HBC, utter disbelief. I really thought you would win it, I was really looking forward to watching you pull a toad out and it never happened. Didn't happen for anyone!

As far as tearing the hooks out, I really dont think that's a problem with the size of the trebles that are on Swimbaits. Look at a jig, bet the hook is almost the same size as most of your trebles on the big baits. Yes the jig hook is longer but the bend is the same. I would use the same rod I throw my hudds on.

Yes, this is confusing. I changed nicco's handle to niKKo. It looks like some of his posts are still coming as nicco, which means he needs to log out, then log back in with the new name.

Nico on the forum is Nico Raffo in real life.
