From what I understand, the flexbait has a flexible core, made out of rubber or some other type of material. The plug itself has a bunch of slits all along the plug. With all the slits and the rubber core, the bait can move side to side quite easily. It's like those wooden toy snakes, if you've ever seen one. Finding a flexbait would probably be pretty tough. Rob got his from Eric's Tackle in Ventura. He had one on the shelf. You might try giving him a call, he might be able to at least point you in the right direction.

They're kinda cool, they move through the water in this snakey kind of motion. I've never caught on mine, it's a 7" one. Dan Frasier had one when I fished with him and Matt P. one time. He got a 3 and a half on it at Cachuma that day. It's just another neat bait that there weren't a lot of units produced, this one probably due to the fact that it's a really hard bait to make (from the look of it).

Thanks for the feedback guys,do you know if Greg makes them himself.I see him out at silverwood sometimes, and i seen a guy plugin at night with a bait that looked just like the flexbait and it was all white.Next time i see him on the water i will ask him about it.Is there a number for that Ericks tackle? And do you know how much they run for(price range)?Does it look basss worthy, does it swim like a snake or a troutsky maybe i should just get a few more nines from Mike, and watch out for rocks and docks and things.I hope there isent to long of a wait thought!Tis the season.Dont feel like going on a wild goose case for a snake bait.Later bros, tight lines........

got 2 fish!!!!!!!

Woodchucker,
Gregg has been telling me all year that he is going to start selling his flex baits. He's trying to get cabellas or bass pro shops to pick them up. The baits were supposed to have hit the market in July and then in October. Last I heard they were all put togeather and waiting for paint. If you talk to him good luck getting one. I know people that have been trying to get one from him for years.
