#167, "big wood rod question"

Hey there,
Does anyone use the Wade Rods Swimbait Rod? I am interested in it, but I would like to know what you guys think. It is 7'10" long and rated for 12-25 lb. test and 1-6 oz. lures. What about G-Loomis BBR-966? I use swimbaits that often weigh 6 ounces or more and need a rod to cast them with ease. Any suggestions on what rod I should use?
thanx for checking out this post

Where did you find them? It might be neat to have a rod with my name on it, but only if they're quality at a reasonable price. Do they make a complete line?

Tight lines,
Wade

Friend of mine just got a GLoomis BBR965C for throwing the Castaic trout. I tried it out for a few casts (with the trout) and it felt really nice. I'll have more to say after we go to Clear Lake this coming weekend.
