Does anyone know if you can "special order" the Slammers, Generics, or Ospreys in the colors they offer in Japan? Like the Slammer...Black w/red eyes?

Thanks Kid. Here's the site where I got all the colors. I can order from Japan, but was hoping to find some here. Click on the "Big Baits". Also be sure to check out the "Get's" link. Nice, nice baits. A little over $100 U.S. When you go to one of the lures, click on the pic of the size you want to see the colors.

woodsac, if you want custom Slammers, you gotta talk to to Mike Shaw. His phone is on the www.msslammer.com site under the concact. Give him a buzz on the phone and see what you can work out. Keep in mind, custom stuff will probably take a long time!

Thanks Rob. I thought about calling, but I figure he's a REAL busy guy. I just assumed that if these companies were suppling Japan that maybe you could order directly from them. I wouldn't expect them to advertise that many colors here in the states. They would need to have a factory of workers to keep up with orders.

Mike is a real nice guy and it's no problem to call him direct. He prefers if people can get the baits in tackle shops, but if you can't find them where you live or you are interested in custom stuff, just give him a call direct.

Does Mike make every single Slammer himself?

oh, no need to answer that question i asked i just read on his site that mike handcrafts every one of them personally on

YUP, each bait is handmade and painted my Mike himself. He has one guy help him make the blanks, but the baits are all airbrushed by Mike.
