It's a go :-) Mike Shaw and I are headed for lake Mojave to Cottownwood cove next week to chase the big stripers. We're planning on fishing the 27th through the 30th. It's not for sure but we are hoping they will plant on the 27th. There hasn't been much big fish action down there yet, but they have had one plant and at least one 45lb fish has come in so far. If anybody has any scoop it would be much appreciated. Gameplan is to cast and troll the 9 and 12" slammers and hunt for a few big bites. Here fishy fishy fishy ....

Oh da River!

Don't get too addicted to the mighty Colorado while you're there! I'm sure it will be brisk in the am and pm there. If you get a chance, go for a black. Mojave is supposed to rock. I haven't been there myself...not yet anyway!
