The Big girl who used to spawn in Calaveras Cove is dead. I found her dessicated remains on the next point So. of Calaveras point last night. Her dried remains (minus 1/2 her tail) measured 25.75" in length. Her belly had been eaten out by something so I couldn't get a girth and didn't want to touch her anyways. I feel like a pet has died. I've hooked her twice (once on a bed and once on a frog) but never landed her.
