Hey Rob,
When you get the pic please post it I want to see this! I know the guide at amador (gil) he catches big cats on the sinking castaics in deep water all the time, yet I have never seen one cought shallow.

yea the big cat blow up on the slammer. i could not believe it. the fish made a splash like a 100lbs kid doing a cannon ball. faught on top the whole time with 2 more jumps. we thought for sure we had the bass of a life time. then to find out it was only a catfish. bummer, but stoked at the same time. on of these days it will come. thanks everyone for the props.
