After a hour or so of tossing swimbaits with no luck I decided I would switch to crappie after I cought around 20 or so in the 1lb range I got a 1lb10oz and then I thought I had a new record crappie on the end of my line, turns out it was a 6lb6oz bass on a 6'ul rod 4lb line and a xps 2" white grub floating about 6' down under a bobber. Anyhow I thought it was pretty cool here are a few pics.

That doesnt surprise me at all. Some of the biggest bass Ive ever caught have been while crappie fishing with little bitty crappie jigs. Back in Jersey I caught quite a few 7 pounders on them, and then I hung a toad one day, got him to the boat before he freaked then he pulled me off in weeds. One of those fish Ill never forget.
On t-day, the boat next to me stuck a 6 or so on a crappie jigs.
You ought to sell off all your swimbaits and just fish micro jigs.

If I recall correctly, the Texas state record largemouth 18.18 lbs was caught at Lake Fork by a crappie fisherman back in the early 90's. It's gonna suck when some dork catches the world record bass on powerbait while trout fishing. Don't be surprised when it happens. :+
