On a lighter note, what are yourmunchies of choice on a long day of chucking and winding?

I usually keep a box of breakfast bars in my truck just in case I don't have time to stop and get food on the way to the lake. Other than the bars I try to snag a blueberry muffin, I usually have to scale down to get the muffins to bite. Ha ha. Normally I'm in such a hurry that food is secondary to fishin.

Hands down - crunchy cheetos. They go with me on every fishing trip. I love turning my fingertips orange.

Patrick, you have to much time on your hands. By the time I get home from work at 11pm, I barely have time to shower and set my alarm for 4:30a.

Vons bagles are key for breakfast. Vons is always open, so we can stop by there before we head up to the lake and pick up some bagels. mmmmm bagels. For lunch, I either go to the marina grill at cachuma, or if I'm forced to bring my own food, I'll pack an ampm sandwich. Great Italian can't be beat.

Breakfast for me is usually a liquid one and taken real early when its still pitch dark before I leave home: a mixture of 2% fat milk, total milk (casein & whey) protein powder, lecithin powder, flaxseed oil and maybe some spirulina powder and alpha lipoic acid! Keeps me going all day and one does not have to take time off fishing to eat. During the day liquids (water, mineral water and fruit juice) replenish lost fluids.

For you guys in the USA, a meal replacement powder such as EAS Myoplex mixed with 2% or skim milk would probably be more convenient and taste good too! Feeds the muscles so you can fish big swimbaits all day and still be ready to really "cross the eyes" of that monster when it inhales your lure!

Salt or fresh, it's a can of Pringles, individual string cheese and bottled water as I'm too busy fishing to eat.

I used to get peperoni pizza combos but I can't seem to find them any more. Now I drink a gallon of water and hit Toxic Hell (Taco Bell) on the way home.

Planter's peanut bars are awesome. They keep well in the boat too, if I forget to eat one I know it will still be edible on my next trip. Protein seems to me to keep me more stable than sugar or something totally loaded with carbs. Red Bull completes the rejuvination.
