Saw the new videos on www.huddlestondeluxe.com, you have to ask yourself with the bar being set, how come no one is trying to meet or beat it? Where are all the Big Bass guru’s? I guess we will just have to wait and see what the bed season brings…

OMFG OMFG OMFG!!!!!!!!! That is just awesome... I don't know what to say... just seeing it from cast to net is unreal... I must say it almost looked like he would fall out of that boat though, or kick a rod or two into the lake... I'm in awe...

Not everyone reports big fish. Although Butch does have a special thing down on the lower, that’s for sure.
He is going to try and get a real bass boat soon so that he can travel to other lakes like Jerry and Mike. That little boat works great on the lower but it doesn’t have the range for running around the larger lakes. I know
A guy with the initials of R.F. That has been getting fish to 14 pounds from a float tube. I think other guys might try to start video taping themselves also. You just run the risk of have 100 people on your spots. I was told that Kenny will put videos of other people on his web site as long as the whole thing is caught on tape. The cast, the hook up, the fight and the net job. The person can never leave the view of the camera.
That way there is no questions asked.

I believe Carrot T Erik said it all!!! Somebody PLEASE thank Butch for sharing with us! And CONGRATS to him too!! I'll be quitting my job monday morning, selling my cat,(ok,I'll give him to a friend),hitchhiking to So-Cal on tuesday, and will be living out of a tent in the woods at various lakes in the San Diego area. I'm not taking anything away from the videos but it looks like the same football of a bass in all 3 vids. What are the chances of that ?or does that lake just produce footballs. I also like his trap rig set up, less likely to get snagged on the bottom.

The lake does produce a lot of footballs. These were all differn't fish. Butch has told me in the past that he knows he does re-catch the same fish every now and then.

i know one of the videos is the lagoon at castaic and the others i think are the big lake at castaic.

Yeah he is setting the bar but what a lot of people dont know that Butch went over 100 hours on the water not catching a double digit bass. This is what seperates most people from big baits and worming. Fact is, not all people have the patience to fish for long periods of time without haveing any luck. This is what the "BAR" and the persistance is all about
