#767, "Castaic swim bait trailer hooks"

What have you guys found that works best for trailer/bottom hook for Castaic swim baits. I have both 8" and 6" models. Do the extra hooks effect the action of the baits?

Thanks

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous

Tear the double hooks out of some cheap snagproof frogs, attach a leader on the underneath side of any bait, and use a small staple-like device to hold the hook in place. Clip will fall when fish are hooked. The double hooks ride perfect parallel to the bait. Good luck. keep on chunkin them.

I perfer cutting an ultra small paperclip and superglue to hold in place. This doesnt tear up the bait at all. But I dont want to give up any more secrets while you guys are on fish. I need some for myself. wes
