Bummed that you didn't win the last contest? Here's your chance to play again and we're going to do it a little different this time. The prize is a brand new 7'11" Heavy Action Okuma swimbait rod. This is a great setup for baits like the 10" Triple Trout, 9" Castaic Trout, 9" MS Slammer, 8" Rago Raptor hardbait, 8" or 10" Platinum, etc. Like the MH action, this rod retails for $99.

To win this rod you need to post a picture of yourself to this thread with a fish caught on Okuma gear. The largest fish posted will win the rod. The rules are as follows:

* The picture must clearly show either an Okuma rod or reel in the photograph.

* The person posting the photo must also be in the photo. In other words, no posting photos of friends or some photo you searched up on google images.

* All species of fish will be accepted.

* You must include the weight of the fish in your post. You can list the weight in decimal or in pounds and ounces.

* No edited photos will be allowed. Any indication that the photo was altered in any way will result in it beind disqualified.

* Calfishing.com reserves the right to disqualify any entries that appear to be grossly exaggerated.

* To claim your prize you must use the contact form on Calfishing.com to contact me.

* The contest will run until Friday 10/13/06 at 12pm Pacific Standard Time at which time the winner will be announced.

Let's see those pics :)

What or who determines the winner? Is it biggest fish or a random drawing between whoever submits a picture?

Thanks

Sorry, that wasn't clear... I updated the post to make it more clear. The largest fish posted will win the rod. I will make the decision about who wins based on the rules posted.

Too bad... I might have put up a pic if it was a random drawing. As the fish in the picture I have is only a pound or so.

With Rod in hand all I can come up with is this 9.5 but it is the 7'11" XH I caught it with. 95% of all my Swimbait fish have been on Okuma rods.
This is way cool of Rob and Okuma. Thanks guys.
Nice Fish Ryan. You may have it there, Good luck!

I haven't caught many fish with this rod(GS-C-761H), but after hooking and landing this striper it gave me allot more confidence in it!!

Phishnuts with his 20lb striper :) Dude, you got this contest thing dialed in, congratulations :) Please email me with your address so I can get the rod on its way.

We'll have one more contest for the 7-11 XH toward the end of the month. It would have been sooner but they all sold out too fast!

Trever...

Congrats on the win. Shoot me an e-mail through the forum with your shirt size and hat preference (Hat or visor). I'll send them out with the rod.

For those interested... I will be getting some more stock in our warehouse the end of the month. I beleive that Tackle Warehouse has all three new models in stock right now.
