Hey Jeff, If you go ahead and get your fish mounted be sure and post a picture of it. That guy looks like he does great work and I'd like to find somewere to get a replica made of my 10 plus that I'm gonna catch this month. I've been on some nice fish this last month and I think I've got em figured out. I'm predicting my first 10 plus to come no later than mar 29th. I'll keep ya posted.

Jeff's asking for somewhere around $350 for a 23-inch fish like mine -- with a natural driftwood mount included, that is ($299 without the driftwood, which is what he charges @ $13 per inch). He also has about a 6-month waiting period, with the number of jobs he has currently lined up (50% up-front deposit also required).

Given the quality work he shows on his website, plus his bass-specific expertise (and the fact that he says each SCALE is *hand-painted*, which sounds like painstaking work!), I would imagine his prices are well worth it. However, I think I'm gonna hold off for the time being.

Given that I released the fish, but I'll always have the photo, I suppose I don't have to rush into any quick decisions! I also might catch a BIGGER one in the not-too-distant future, so what's the rush??? :7

Anyways, as much as I'd like to go for it, I think I'll have to wait until the BUDGET has a little more 'fun-money' in it!
