Here are the 2005 Bass-n-Tubes Regional TOC Qualifiers. Congratulations!

The qualifiers were chosen based on their finishing order in each of the 3 BnT regions. The top 5 anglers from each region were chosen. If an angler placed in the top 5 in more than 1 region the region you finished highest in determines which region you have qualified thru. In case of a tie then the region with the highest total weight is the region you have qualified thru.

These anglers are guaranteed a spot at the 2005 BNT TOC this October 29-30 at Collins Lake, where they will be fishing for a total purse of $600.00 with no entry fee.
If qualifiers can't make the TOC we will be using the "on-deck anglers".

Don’t forget if you didn’t qualify through a region you can still qualify through the SCBBBC Invite next month at Clear Lake.

To qualify through the invitational you will need to be a paid BnT member and have fished at least 3 regional tournaments in 2005. The top 5 non qualified BnT members from the invitational will be added to the list of TOC qualifiers to make a total of 20 anglers participating in this years TOC.

I only see that you have fished 2 regional events. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I figured 2 DR's & 2 TR events added up to 4. You're saying it has to be 3 in one region?

I don't think the "Opens" count as regular scheduled events. But what do I know?

The key word is "regional" events. Opens are not regional events. Make sense?

Man, I don't know what I was thinking. I wasn't even counting the Delta Open event. I thought I had done a Traveler's event or two (even thought I saw my name in the Traveler's Region YTD stats). Must've been looking at last year's (or maybe a separate version of a DR YTD sheet?)?!!

I don't know. I guess I'd still like to verify, though: if I *had* fished one TR event, in addition to my 2 DR events, I would still have a shot, right? When you say 3 events, they didn't have to be all within only one region, correct?

Sorry for the confusion; I'll go back to sleep now...


Who knows -- maybe I'll come up to the TOC in the Four Winns & watch from the sidelines. Sounds like a great little lake up there!

Correct its the "regional" events from any region. You just had to show up to one more regional event from any of the 3 regions and you would have had a shot.

If you do decide to show up in the boat let us know. They might need some help with weigh ins.

And I think it's a great way to handle it -- kind of like your WON-Bass Traveler's deal, right? Too bad I didn't realize sooner what opportunity I missed out on, so I could've slipped in at least one more tourney. Oh, well, hopefully next season I won't have an *address change* to deal with, which cut pretty severely into my fishing time this year! :+
