OK, but "E" has had such a great year I figured he wanted to break the 100lb mark.

Now you know what it's like to be fishing the first year in the club. Never been to any of the lakes. Fishing them all blind. I'll send a map to Swimbait and you, and maybe Rob will post it for everyone.
But, just going and having a good time is why I've only missed a few tourneys. I'm sure Rob will let his 'partner' in on the hot spots. I better see you there!

You can add Brian Long and Phil to the list ( sorry don't know Phil's last name ).
As far as going and fishing lakes you've never been to before, how do you think I felt when I showed up before dawn at Clear Lake, Pinto, and the Delta having never seen them before in my life? Darce and Eric especially are good enough sticks that I'm sure they could figure something out during the course of the day. And if you guys are worried about me knowing the lake etc, well don't forget that I have only been out there twice THIS YEAR. Lakes change and although I might know some good areas, that doesn't mean I'm necessarily going to do well on them. If this is the only excuse for people not going, then I'm disappointed to be honest with you guys! Like I said in my other post, if you are willing to drive to Naci to catch 14" spots, Margarita is no more than 30 minutes further, and it's a purely largemouth lake where the fish are mostly 2 to 3lbs. I hope people decide to come, I will go out of my way to make this a good tournament. If you have questions about the lake or concerns give me a call 510-249-9412.

I'm looking forward to fishing some new water so that I might have a chance of catching a bleeding fish or two! Saturday morning is a bit tough but it leaves all of Sunday to rest up. Some of us older guys need that day of rest....

It's Ken Anderson. Sorry, I didn't realise that I was logged out during those posts. I've been around the calfishing sites a lot over the past year or two. I met Rob once over at Wilderness Outfitters before he moved up north. Here's a picture with one of those Margarita fish from earlier this year! If you need to get a hold of me I'm at (805)937-7789.
