Beware of sharks!
I wouldn't touch it in a tube. But there's good halibut & some stripers or so I'm told. Stingrays too. A small boat would be Ok.
You could probably find some good schools of surf perch too. Try 'em for dinner if you never have, they're great. Put a small grub on a light carolina rig and work it slowly back to you in pockets in the surf. A bigger version would probably get halibut too. Try 2" motoroil for the perch, 3" rootbeer for the halibut. Both with gold metalflake.
Soak some squid or anchovies for the rays & sharks.

Chris

A float tube would be a very bad idea. I've seen some big sharks there (nothing I would want swim with). Crabbing can be really good there. Mostly rock crab but lots of them and they are tasty!
