WOW, WHAT A NIGHT OF FISHING.MY PARTNER AND I WENT TO KNOCTI,2 HOURS LATER WE HAD OUR LIMIT OF ABOUT 15LBS. STARTED OF WITH SOME SPINNERS BUT DID NOT GET NOTHING CHANGED TO A SENKO, FIRST CAST FISH ON STAYED WITH THE SENKO ALL NIGHT CAUGHT SO MANY FISH I LOST COUNT 95% OF THEM WERE KEEPERS.I DO NOT HAVE A CULLING SYSTEM BUT DO HAVE A SCALE.I BELEIVE IF WE WOULD HAVE HAD SOME TYPE OF CULLING SYSTEM WE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE CAME IN WITH A BETTER WEGHT BUT AS IT STANDS SECOND PLACE IS NOT TO BAD . CANT WAIT TO FISH THERE AGAIN ALOT OF FISH ALOT OF FUN
JUST WISH NOT SO MANY FISH WOULD HAVE DIED THAT WAS NOT PRETTY

Is the water still weed matted over on that side of the lake?
I was at State park / Konocti last year and there was alot of
hydrila. I know they are spraying for it over in the keys area
and it is clear of that stuff. Just wondering.

I was up at CL last weekend and noted the bite was on, but alot
of 2lbers. But, if they are biting, all the bass have turned on. It's
just a metter of finding the better fish. I found that once you
found them, there would be alot. Almost as if the same size fish had
bunched together in spots. I found a spot with 3-5lbers and almost
used up my senkos catching so much fish. What a blast, and plan on
going back this week for a couple of days.

Congrats to the winners, and 2nd place, wish I could have made
it over to that side of the lake Sat night.

THERE WERE SOME BUILD UPS OF HYDRILLA BUT IT WASNT TO BAD.I HAD NOTICED THE SAME THING ABOUT GETTING ON THE FISH ONCE YOU FOUND UM THEY WERE THERE IN ALL ABOUT THE SAME SIZES.I WENT THROUGH ABOUT 2 BAGS OF SENKOS IT WAS CRAZY.THE WATER TEMP THERE WAS ABOUT 81 DEGREES AND I FOUND THAT IF I CAST TO THE SHORE AND WORKED THE BAIT OUT BETWEEN 10 TO 14 FEET IS WHERE THEY WERE HITTING .I DID NOT GO 10 MIUNTES WITHOUT CATCHING A FISH ALL NIGHT LONG.
FISH ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Matt, you're a super stud and I wish I had that type of night. For a short time in the evening I was getting hits on every cast (thanks Binh!) but most were dinks. Oh, well, we all have our days...

I think I need to learn how to hook fish again :+

Cy,

Just keep it simple if you can. I like big blades, big worms, topwaters and cranks. If you're new to the night fishing try to go when the moon is out so you can see better.

You might also want to check some of the older posts as there is a lot of good info on there.

Good luck and get out on the water!

Todd

TODD JUST ABOUT SUMMED IT UP.AT NIGHT USE BIGGER SENKO BIGGER EVERYTHINGS.I LIKE TO USE DARK COLORS AT NIGHT MAKE IT EASER FOR THE BASS TO SEE AND IF YOU DO FISH AT NIGHT WITHOUT A MOON ON WELL USED WATERS BE SURE TO BRING PLENTY OF LIGHTS AND BATTERYS FOR SAFTEY.AT NIGHT I ALSO FISH ALL THE BAITS SLOWER THAN WHAT YOU WOULD USUALLY DO}(
FISH ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
