Dan, Here's a few ideas; 7 1/2 ft / medium heavy / fast action /15 - 20 lb mono - Senkos / weightless baits 7 1/2 ft / heavy / fast action / 30 lb mono - 1/2 oz or lighter jigs & plastic 7 1/2 ft / heavy / fast action / 50-80 lb braid - 1/2 oz or heavier jigs, plastic & frogs 8 ft / heavy / fast action / 30 lb mono - 1/2 oz or lighter jigs & plastic 8 ft / heavy / fast action / 50-80 lb braid - 1/2 oz or heavier jigs, plastic & frogs
Get a good blank, some Fuji Alconite Concept guides & reel seat, some quality cork rings and I'll build one custom for ya. }(

I use a 7'6" Heavy Kistler for most of my flipping. But for finesse or lighter line stuff I use a 7' MH Kistler. If you're not flipping thick stuff, you don't need a broom stick to pull em out. But you still need enough meat to set the hook for those big dawgs!
