Well I don't write reports about bad days :P :+ :7

I'm so fricken sick of dealing with my boat, granted I made the dumb move when replacing my batteries and didn't attach one of the negatives and when I plugged in my charger one side literally blew up and probably popped the fuses on everything else cause my electrics are all done.

I was such a fricken memorial day story it was ridiculous, at least my bone head move prolly just blended in fine with all the other idiots that were out there last weekend. Back to fricken oars and fins for awhile till the boat gets back out of the shop. I finally get my big motor rocking and rolling just fine and then I kill all my electronics. I think I need to just do some bank fishing for awhile it's cheaper and safer the worst thing I can prolly do is just stub a big toe which hurts a lot less than watching a few hundred dollars worth of charger become a strob light and pop. I hate being a boat rookie!

That sucks Chris, but me and electricity do not get along either. I was rewiring the front of my boat with the wires still connected to the batteries...I know I am an idiot. Well my $150.00 Kenneth Cole watch (metal) touched the hot wires and...BOOM the watch flew off my wrist. Fried my wires, burned my wrist, and ruined my watch. I do not mess with the electric parts of my boat by my self anymore, I have a buddy help who has some electrical experience

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous

dood, I dont know how many times I have offered my help to you with your boat and you have never taken me up on it. Given the fact that I have rewired my boat all the way through, every possible wire and understand how it all works. I say this experience for you is a learning curve and its all your fault. Dont be so stubborn next time and call me.

Yeah Lake,
I know I should have called you, I was an idiot for not. I was sooo close only missed by one wire. I actually didn't think it was going to be a problem I have put batteries in before, but I guess I am learning the expensive way, I mean the hard way x(

I'd like to pre-fish middle river this Sunday. Is anyone from the delta region planning on going out there Sunday?

Hey Bro,

I noticed the same thing. Looking forward togetting together with you this weekend. I will call you tonight.

Bummer about Chris's boat. It really sucks when something like that happens. At least it took out your fuses and not the actual equipment.

Wow Chris!Sorry to hear about your boat woes. ;( If I can be of any help, let me know.
I had some woes after the open.
1st my fender well on the trailer broke a couple welds.I didn't notice it until I got to my exit(about 3.5hrs on the road) :o
2nd After unloading everything and getting the boat in the garage,my truck wouldn't start.I had to have it towed the next dayand it took them a week to find the problem.
me & buzzyfish will be on the delta sat.(we're going to try the afternoon/evening bite).I might be able to be coaxed into going out sunday too :o :7 Give me a call if ya need anything,

Your post on my thread was 4 minutes earlier than this one. I'll pay everything plus gas in your truck, and I'll bring lunch. Beat that CZ!
