BNT's Delta Region is holding their next tourney this Sunday 6/24/07, at Mildred Island/Middle River.

We will be launching from the levee on Middle river near the junction of Middle River and Empire cut (Southwest corner of Mildred).

Check in - 4:45am
Weigh in - 12:00 noon. (6 hour rule is in effect)

Please reply to this post if you are planning on being there.

the 12 oclock weigh in will be a plus. there was plenty...and i mean there was plenty of boat traffic when i fished on sunday. it was damn near hazardous. count me in and i will be the guy with the kids safety flag!

I saw the orange flags with the holder at wal mart last week. I think I will pick 1 up for this event. Empire cut can be scary. I would like to see this a BNT rule for '08 when we fish water with a lot of boat traffic

When is that scheduled for Mitch.

I agree that stretch of river can be pretty hairy, be careful in and around the main channel.

I think this should be a rule as well but the last time it was brought up no one else seemed to think so. We could get orange flags on those whip antenna style posts and mount them on our boats/tubes. I also think that better lights (not the ones we wear on our heads) would add to safety early on.
