Steve, You and I should have a fishing show.
How many times are you and I going to trade fish?
I went ahead and wrote this one down in my log.
Check this out - In the morning a few hours had passed. Steve had already had caught a couple good striper while I was struggling for a bite. As we neared each other Steve asked if I had caught any?
My reply was “No not yet!”
Steve reached over and handed me his rod and said to cast it out and catch a fish using his rod. OK.
I took one cast of his offering of a Mister Twister 4” white Sassy Shad.
And wouldn’t you know it - POW! I land my first keeper Striper of the day.
Thanks Steve, you are amazing!

Steve also kicked down a bag of the deadly Sassy Shads. I finish with two nice keeper stripers and one football size 3 in half pound size large month.

Sorry guys but the fun didn’t stop after we parted. 4:00PM I went to the market to get food while eating I decided to drop back in over at the turning basin. I nailed five more keepers all on the Sassy Shad. Biggest of the stripers went 9.4 pounds. All of them came from 3-6 feet of water and about five feet from shore.

All this action I decided to go back out Sunday fished Luis Park.
Tuff bite only got three small stripers and one catfish.

SENKER I saw your truck in the parking lot at Luis Park.
How did you do?

Had a good day.
No striper action to report.
Headed north into whites and disappoitment.
If I could find a rock point I could catch small fish.
Ended up with 12 or so rats.
Fun day. No size.
Rock points in current 8 to 10 feet deep.
I will be back out there this weekend.
My partner and I will be fishing the WON teams event Saturday
