Well,Merry Xmass everyone!Imet Mitch at 7.30 and we launched at the bridge to find high and muddy water. It looked better than I've seen shadow cliffs for a couple of years.Itlooked like a good flip bite would soon be headed our way but that was not to be.Nothing else would come our way this day either!I'm mean nothing, except we each felt once that wierd sensation on your line which might resemble a bite, but we couldn't be sure.;( It was good to be fishing though but it sure did shut down. The temp was from 46-49 degrees and I think it was just too soon after the big storms. We charted a bunch of suspended fish anywhere from 6-15 ft. We got out at about 1.30 and my cell rings,it's joey"squeekers""Castro.:o He's on his way to the quarry ponds in search of smallies.I meet him there about 2.30 and we go to my 1st spot,a steep point with a steep rocky bank.It looks like the shadow cliffs funk followed me there cause we didn't get a fish.We hit some good spots with the temp at 53-56 degrees.I didn't even mark that many fish on the finder and we covered everything. It is alway pleasure to fish and when the fish aren't biting it's company your with that makes the day:)
