Current SCBBBC member & former big-time float tuber Pat Wilson won the amateur division at the Clear Lake BASS event. Awesome! Also, many thanks to Pat for helping me get a clue on Thursday evening as to how to get some bites when fishing behind the best bass pros in the country.

That's the 2nd boat Pat's won in the last year. The man is one great back deck fisherman. Probably the 2nd with many more to follow.

I'll post my report on the BASS event soon.

Pat posted a great write-up on NCBF, telling about his memorable days on the water with Grigsby, Gadlage, Velvick & others. That's awesome! It also shows that us tubers know how to FISH, too, don't you think? It appears that much of what Pat has learned, he probably picked up alot from a tube!

Well, seeing as how he won a(nother!) boat, that tube may not get quite as much use, but I'm sure he won't be getting rid of it (once a tuber, *always* a tuber, I would say!). :D
