I have the new temp. logo saved on my desktop as a .gif file hod do I put it on here for all to see?

When you click on the message above your 'new post' box that says: 'Click here to upload your file,' a new window will come up that prompts you to 'Browse' for the file you want to upload. Therefore, before you start, be aware of where your file is located on your hard drive, so you can direct the upload tool to the right folder.

Select what type of file it is (.jpg, .gif, etc.), 'Browse' to locate the file, then scroll down in the small window to where you can click on the 'Upload File!' button. (You'll have to change the 'files of type' bar at the bottom of the window to list 'All files,' as opposed to just 'HTML files,' for your gif file to appear in the file list window).

When you click the 'Upload File!' button, the new window will show a "successfully uploaded" message, with a pathname to where the file has been uploaded onto Rob's Calfishing server. Hi-lite the full pathname, copy it, & paste it at the bottom of your post (or in the middle somewhere, if you prefer). When you post it, it's just text, but when you call up your posted message, the image will be there in place of the text.

Try it, John -- you can *DO* it! :-) If it doesn't work right, you can always 'edit' your message & try again.

(It sounds really complicated, with all this verbiage here. Just go through the process once or twice & you'll get the hang of it!).

I saved this one as a gif file from my BnT-2k1 flyer. Unfortunately, it looks better as a .bmp file, but I guess I have to convert it to .gif to upload it here. (Rob, tell me if there's a way to upload a .bmp file. It doesn't appear to be an option in your upload window).

Cool,I found out my problem i think.it says it has a max. size of 150KB for the forum mine has 285KB.Is that why I cant get it up there

yup that's whats going on. I will change it to be 300K so you can upload it. Hold on about 5 minutes after this post.

No offense to who ever created that logo, but it isn't that eye catching. I asked a fried if he thought it was cool and he said it was to plain and simple. I guess it is all right for now. I'm sure someone could create a better logo.

I like the concept.
I'll play with it a tad. If for other reason than fun. Maybe I can do something with it in Flash for your site. ?

Anyone having problems with file size, turn your images into jpg files and set the compression between 3 to 5. That may help. Or you can use a limited number of colors in your gif files. If it's a black & white image, try just using 8 or 16 colors(shades of grey).

Constructive criticism is why we have this forum,not to blast people,and the only one who blast's anyone here is usually you.Nicolo as a member has right to voice his opinion,just like I do,and so do you.I have not and will not draw anything up but bet your a$$ I will voice my opinion on every drawing I see.If someone doesnt like yours so what,as long as you do.Dont go through life concerned what everyone else thinks just do your thing and be happy with what you do.Keep drawing

So far the logo concepts have been really interesting and I like the way the tubes and the fish are the main focus. I really cannot draw very well so maybe the only advice I could offer would be to those who are doing the art work: Try to create a good representation of Who?What?When?Where? and especially Why? in the picture as simply as possible. An example would be that to me Bass-n-tubes: represents a cycle of growth. Ask john and E and Darce and joe p, about how this club started and how many were there. How many now, as more and more join with different ages and backgrounds. More depth, more life stories and all of it comes out of us in the bodies of water we frequent. How that fish we caught or lost yesterday has changed how we will do it today, and who was floating next to us, to get the oppertunity to watch it happen and then share with us as we grow together. I guess the simplicity is that, it is just not the same when you are dealing with dollars and coorperate america.

Actually that is a pretty good logo! With more realistic arwork (less computer art) I think it would be great. A bass in a kickboat would be better though cuz kickboats look better.

Nicolos is great, the bass in a tube, LOL. So far I like this one the most. Simple yet nice looking.

Someone can rework this one if they like. I agree that the bass isn't so good. Photoshop sucks for illustration, and I can't do anything by hand.

I think that this is a good simple piece of art. But the fish is too cute and would make use look like a bunch of sissies(j/k). If we could fix the fish just a little bit i think we could possibly depending of JL have a new logo.

True, but the fish is chillin and happy, just like us when we are that fish in the tube. It stands out without being intimidating.
