How big are the pontoons on the VV? 18"

After my little incident I'm gonna buy a new boat. I really liked the way the VV's were up out of the water. However I am still considering one the new Dave Scadden models. The 2004 North Fork. But it comes with 16" pontoons. I don't think that's any bigger then my Blue Herron.

Thanks John. From what I've gathered talking to people and companies is that the pontoons without bladders are much more durable and collapse less. That's one reason I'm looking at the DS. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.

Wonder if that includes being hit by a Chevy on the freeway? :+ :o
