O.K. I got a refund on the Dave Scadden and ordered a VV. Standard model 8' with livewell bar. Anything else I need to call back and add before they ship?

I'm like a kid in a candy store, and I haven't even seen the candy yet!:D :P :7

Oh yea, I've got a brand new Lowrance X67c to put on it!

IFISH say's,

HA HA, YEAH WOODSAC ! Yet another man converted to Ye' Olde' V.V. ! I am happy for you bro, and In light of what happened at Clear, you deserve to get a nice, super pimpin', "Caddy-of-the-water" kickboat W/ Liewell bar ( extended deck ).
:+ }( :7 I bet the first time you get in it and start rowing like a mad-man, you'll be posting the sheer bliss in which you felt! Oh, almost forgot, I actually have the extended deck, and Dude, it's soooo rad. I'm not sure if you saw my rig, but I have a 15 gallon well on there that is about 28 - 30 " long, and about 15-17" wide. It's fits like butter, and is just a killer livewell set-up. You're in for a treat bro, and I'm happy for you something fierce ! Your game just stepped up about 10 notches, and if those reapers are any sign of your skillz, you're gonna be a force to be reckoned with! }( Congrats Bro, Congrats.

IFISH

I got my boat today!!!!!!!

I didn't have time to put it together at lunch. What does the livewell bar look like? I just want to make sure I got everything. I noticed a couple guys had like a 'T' handle on their boats to help move it around. Where did you get those?

Can't answer on the livewell bar but the T handles looked to me like the ones you buy to carry ski boots to/from the slopes.

did you pick up a foot pump or do you already have one for a boston valve. I'd hate to hear you post that you got the OE and then couldn't find a pump that fit.

I already have a pump and I think my old boat has boston valves. My adapter is kinda big and it pushes into the valve and turn locks into place. Same thing?

Yep that should do it, if it turns and locks.

Never mind, my Day Tripper has Boston Valves and I can use the same pump for it so I'm covered.

Best accessory I got for my kickboat was this coleman electric pump that plugs into your cigarette lighter. I blow up the pontoons most of the way with that, then top it off with the foot pump. You can inflate both pontoons in just a few minutes that way. If you just have the foot pump, you're huffin and puffin for a while. Being that I hate doing anything excercise related early in the morning, it's a nice thing for tourneys :)

yeah I've been looking at those for awhile especially since I often have to pump up my boat at the tourney site. One day i'll decide to not be so lazy and I'll go buy the electric pump so that I can then be lazy before a tourney :)
