#21177, "VV Instructions?"

Ok, I'm a dumbass x(

What are these pegs for and where do they go?

Is this the livewell bar? How does it mount to the rear deck?

When you put the pin in the footrests, are they supposed to be able to slide to the rear? If not, what do I run them through? There are no holes in the frame under the seat?

Got the pegs figured out. They're for the stripping apron. Do you guys use the stripping apron with those bars?

Do you make any adjustments to the oars, or are they set pretty good right out of the box?

Personally I don't like stripping aprons (olr whatever you call them), they just seem to get in my way. When landing fish in particular.

You will want to adjust the oars once you get the boat on the water to figuer out the perfect setting.

Hey John, what about that bar laying in front of the deck in pic #2. Is that the livewell bar? I think maybe I got the wrong thing.

THat appears to be part of the livewell bar, but I dont see the large U shaped bar that it would connect to. My boat is designed a bit different then the newer ones. CZ, Swampy or buzz should know the answer for sure

yea that extra bar is what they sent me for the livewell. I just have the bar slipped over the back part of the frame behind the seat. Lazyfish's is much better than mine cause he actually drilled out the holes to stick the pins into the frame, but it will work by just putting it on without sticking in the pins for the extra bar.

CZ, help me out here. Pleeeeeease!

You have the bar slipped over what? My cargo deck touches the back of my seat. There is no room for the bar?

Pretend like I've never seen a V.V. ;-) Actually, I only looked at a couple at the Open to get some ideas for my old boat. I never really got to look at how any of them were assembled.

If I didn't have that extra bar, everything else would mount up just fine. I just can't see where that would go or how it would be used for a livewell?

When you ordered the boat you told Tina you didnt think you would need the mesh cargo bay. So what you will need to do is remove the mesh and pvc pipe from the cargo bracket. The bar you have will basically go where the pvc pipe was for support for your livewell. You will want to find the container for your well 1st then slip it in the frame and mount the bar so it will fit nice and tight. You will also want to make surface area to carry all your gear on the back deck.

Does this make sense?

Gotchya!!!
I just got off the phone with Tina too.

I didn't realize the bar and the mesh weren't intended to be used at the same time. Makes perfect sense now. I'll work on it when I get home tonight. Thanks!!!!
