I would like to set up a Turkeyshoot for Saturday March 26th. It would a $15 buy in and a $5 big fish option. I know personally the ponds are on fire right now. If anyone would like to get in on this reply back to this post and lets see what we can get going.....

I think it should be a pick your pond tourney. We could do 2 weigh ins...1 at each pond pending who fishes in which pond. That way we dont have to worry about transporting or possibly dumping your well on the dirt road and hurting the fish. :-) :-)

Fished the big pond on far left. Got in the water at around 930 am. Within in 20 minutes my dad had 3 and cousin had 1. It was a consistant bite all day long. out of the water at 445 and altogether we caught 31. Big fish was 2 1/2. Chartruese was the key.

OK here is the deal for the Turkeyshoot....

It is going to be a Pick your Pond. I have ben going early to the ponds as of late and the gates have been open around 6. I was thinking that C/I would be at 0630 and we would blast off between 645-0700. We would have weigh in #1 at 0230 at pond #1. Weigh in #2 will be at 0300 @ pond #2.

Hey fellas I have my first kb on the way an ODC 1220. I would really like to come down to the Windsor ponds I’ve heard a lot about them. Unfortunately I don’t have a source of transportation at the moment but my GF was thinking about maybe going up there to check it out with me. My kb is a 2 man KB so she can come with. I don’t know if we will be able to get in the shootout because it’s a 2 man craft and also we don’t have a livewell but I’m going to try to rig something up. So if I do get some kind of livewell going how do you all feel about the 2 of us working from the same kb. Anyhow could one of you give me some directions or an address for the place we coming form Oakland

My Buddy has a follow me bag you guys could use! I for 1 think it would be very cool to have your girl fish. I wish my girl would come out but she wont float till the water is over 75.:P Anyway I was thinking that you 2 could fish as a team and weigh in 5 together.

Here is the easiest way to get here....

101 N. to Central Windsor Exit.

Turn left at the stop light.

Go straight on that road till it comes to a end(about 3 miles) at Eastside road.

At Eastside road turn Left and follow 1.6 miles.

On the right handside of road see a sign Regional Park.

Parking is $4.00

I just got back from vacation and found out I have to work very late Fiday night and maybe Saturday morning so I am probly going to be a no show for the turkey shoot. I will probly know more towards the end of the week.

We went out there about 1 1/2 weeks ago and ANTHING with Chartruese was the key. The fish were holding right next to the shoreline. It will be alot of fun. I glad you can make it out.

OK, gotta get on the water, like hanging out with others and learning, so, will donate my $ to the pot, probably show about 6:00 - 6:15 AM.

Not sure which Pond I want to pound them at? Never been there to fish, just on the shore by the parking lot (Cool finally get to use that darned pass I invested in). I have a way to roll my kick boat around but actual launching takes two, then could hide my hand truck in the bushes I guess, or even take back to the van.

Deacon (what the heck is your real name again), what pond are you going to try? I know you said you could give me a hand launching, but if you are not going to do the good pond (what ever one that is) I might not have you around to help.

Off to the store later, Roboworms to restock from last tournament, Chartruse something and anything it seems, not only for tomorrow but it sounds like good colors for the Delta Whites Slough in April?

I am sure someone will post between now and launch so see you on the water if I dont see you post here later today.
