aight guys. my family an i will be makin our annual trip to my grandma's house up in the sierra's this august. her house is right on the west walker river. obviously i aint gonna tube that. but have any of you tubed the lakes around there like Heenan lake on monitor pass. or Topaz or Bridgeport reservoir or any lakes that i don't have to hike to go to since my dad will be goin too. haha. so if you have what kinda lures/fly's should i be usin up there. thanks for any info. ~Angler Andy

Where exactly is grandma's house. I've done a lot of trout fishing in almost all the lakes along Hwy 395. Get me close and I can maybe help with some info. Some driving involved but you won't need to hike. Beautiful country to fish.

Topaz is not so bad, some good size Rainbows in there. but be careful when the wind picks up. size 5 rappalas worked for me last time i was there. trolling night crawlers also works well, along with drowning cheese balls.
