Have fun at Powell!
Don't forget Matzuo jig heads. They are lighter than standard leadheads allowing you to fish swimbaits shallow. They use a small lead encased within a larger plastic head. on a round bend jig hook. AND they look great too! I'm not positive about these weights but I believe 4" baits can be fished with an 1/8 oz head, 5" with a 1/4 and 7" with a 3/8 oz head. They're no replacement for big wood cranks like the Slammer but they're a great "inbetween" bait when wood isn't ideal but neither are the lead heads.

Definitely tuff enuff. That's what we use in saltwater for halibut, white seabass, albacore, etc. After a couple albacore, even the leadhead is lookin pretty hurt, but they hang in there. -Brian
