Joey,
Your keyboard stop smokin yet? You've been pretty busy on the message board as of late... I snuck into this reservoir the other night. It sucked, so we decided to sneak into this other place. As we're walking across this dam, we see a truck parking next to our cars, $hit, so we blitz and my friend John just flies over this barb wire fence, and lands on his stomach with a huge thump. He was alright, so we carefully made our way to our cars (the truck was just some people making our or something) and bolted. Stop number two produced four late night fish, all on blades, none bigger than 2#. Nothin like covert fishin...

LAST EDITED ON Nov-21-00 AT 11:38 AM (PST)

Brian you sound like me when I use to have some down homies. Dude their use to be a time when we would just seek out the places hidden/No Trespassing kind of places. You know… One of my all time favorites is located in right above Milpitas in the hills. We call it The Better “C”. Back in the day when we were a bit more krazier. We would go during the day walk around this lake a fish per cast was common. Now days were a bit older and wiser to are $$$ in result if caught were dealt in fines and confiscating are fishing gear. Now I don’t know about you but if some one had the right to take are goods if caught. I sure was not going to give it up easy. Anyways…in favor of us the best time to go these days would be Thanksgiving Eve or best Christmas Eve. Of course we would always be dropped off and have a pick up point. I remember three years ago fishing for bass in this lake I hooked in a ten-pound native rainbow with a crank bait. Not thinking I threw it back. When I should have had him for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Be safe out there you FISH NINJA.

Joe,
We usually go pretty late at night, and I don't like to stay for more than an hour. We don't use flashlights, and we wear full camo. We've got different places ranked according to the threat of getting caught, and that determines what rod I bring. If it's a high intensity situation, I bring the $hitty telescoping trout spinning rod. If it's low intensity, I bring the castaway. Plus, there's lots of bushes to hide in, so we're good. Well, here's my dad, gotta go.

Some times this works. Let say you drive out to your spot of fishing. Load down your gear and getting ready to jump into your waders. Try putting on a dry, new pair of socks. I say dry cause most the time we have on our shoes. We have slite moister to our socks/feet. Placing a new pair of socks on will allow your feet to stay warm a bit longer. :-)
