#871, "So how did the 'fishing' people do?"

Went with Chris and Bill to Spring and Bill ended up doing well. We fished for about 3 1/2 hours and he ended up with 4 fish (all around 2lbs) and lost one about 4lbs (was playing it and wanted to see it shake its head - gone). Chris and I threw the Slammer's and ended up with one hit between the two of us. Unfortuantely I missed (didn't have a chance to replace the trebles with Gami's). Had the fish on for about a 1/2 second. Oh, well. I'm just happy I got hit!

So, how did the rest of you do? Let everyone know!

Todd
I went to Shadow Cliffs and it was pretty slow. Foggy and cold and only one fish 2.5lbs on a jig. Ponds look good though, Should be fun when the bite is better.
Get them gammi hooks dude =)

LzyFish and I went out fishing Sunday Delta Union Point, Victoria Slough.
We fished an incoming tide Cranked and tossed spinners along with flipping Jigs and Reapers on toolies and wood structure along riprap with no success to either of us. Even tried tossing a white Hairraiser along the bridges pilling. Nada….

I fished a little pond in this trailer park (night time only, if you know what I mean...). The report's on the freshwater reports board. In about an hour and a half, two hours of fishing I had 8 fish, all on a black spinnerbait, nothin over 2lbs.

Brain, some time or another I’m going to have to find some ninja ponds or lakes around these parts. When the fishing gets tuff I should be fishing in stealth mode.

Joe,

I told you about the pond by my house for night stealth fishing.
Best wait for spring tho, for better bite. My best there is 7 lbs and my son has record at 8 lbs the following nite. Got picture to prove that one.
